We were visiting from Ohio and we like to try local places. This place is small with a big attitude. The food was delicious and the prices were not bad. The service was exceptional.

The cook and waitresses were so nice. Loved the easy going atmosphere. My omelette was probably the best i've ever had. Full of meat and flavor. And everyone else seemed to love there meal. It is a place to enjoy the food and company. Thank you.

Stopped in for lunch with my Dad today and wasn't sure what to expect. Ended up pleasantly surprised. First off, the server was just the friendliest person. She was talkative and welcoming and conveyed a very warm atmosphere. We had a bacon cheeseburger and a turkey n bacon club, both with fries and the food was amazing. The server even stressed to us as she served the meals to be careful and not accidentally bite into the toothpicks. The service is by far the best in the downtown area and on par with a place in Belfry for the best service in the entire region. Again...food is also without question better than anything else downtown. If you are in the downtown area and want the best meal... definitely go here. Great food, friendly service. No doubt this is the best meal in Williamson. Will definitely be back soon.

Despite the negative reviews, me and a buddy opted to try this place for breakfast, and while it was a long wait, we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was originally reserved for railroad workers, but they recently opened up to the public, and it appears those railroad workers eat well. Plenty of breakfast platters to pick from, and lunch sandwiches. My buddy enjoyed the Trainmaster while I went for the Casey Jones. The prices are also very reasonable. If you don't mind waiting awhile, I would encourage you to give it a try. Worth the wait.

Stopped in here for lunch while riding the Buffalo Mountain Trail. We weren't expecting much more than a standard hot meal at the small diner, but wow, were we ever surprised. We were greeted first by Barb, who had the sweetest smile and demeanor. Their daily special featured a sweet potato as a side. My buddy ordered the Philly and I got the Iron Horse Burger with a side of onion rings. The burger was good, the onion rings were perfect done, and my buddy raved about how good the Philly was. We both ordered a side of the sweet potato and it was the best I've had in a long time, maybe ever. We were offered creamsicle cake for dessert and it was amazing. The food was very good, but the service is where this place truly shined. Barb, Roger, Jenny and Pam were the most gracious hosts. All 4 of them went out of their way to make sure we were well cared for. I've literally never had better service anywhere in all my years. We live 3 states away, but I'll make sure to eat here each year when we come down to ride. Then came the bill. This placed is definitely priced right, and was very affordable, leaving space in our budget to leave a generous tip for our new friends! Thank you Barb, Jenny, Roger and Pam!

Very peaceful little diner. Great food. Husband had burger fries and pop. I had pinto beans, cornbread with fried potato and coffee. We split a piece of the most delicious pecan pie we have ever had and it was only $25. Excellent prices for the food and the atmosphere. We will go again

Breakfast on an early Saturday morning. Don't know the story, but waitress was the cook too? Maybe somebody didn't show up.... But it took quite a while to get food and coffee refills. She did a great job considering. Only 2 other people in while we were there. Anyway food was great and worth the wait. They had some cool breakfast items on the menu but we kept it simple.
